Steal some precious seconds each day to pause and live in your body. Breathe deep, feel the air rush into your nostrils. Observe the tingles, points of tension, areas of warmth. Remembering to be a living being is one of the most important things we can do for our mental health, and it's probably the thing we do the least. On the one hand it's tragic, but there is always an opportunity, every moment, to return to being alive.
