But don’t become a slave to it.

Requires continued effort over time. Don’t expect results overnight.
For the fulfilment of others, and for yourself. It is the gift that keeps on giving. If you don’t do it for money, fame or glory, you are guaranteed to be free. If you happen to acquire such successes on the way, great, but they must be used to benefit the art, and the people receiving it.
Not a single moment of inspiration.
When it is, get aggressive. Not with blind fury, but with determination.
On time, every time.
Take an interest in that which seems to irritate you. Why is it so? Is there a way to find opportunity within it?
Appreciate the skill of others, rather than yearning for it yourself.
But turn up every time.
Could be a catalyst for great progress. Inaction, on the other hand, achieves nothing.
Is beautiful, precisely because it is unnecessary.
Or a hobbyist? It’s okay to be either, but you must choose.
